Thomas joined New Plan Partners in 2019 as a Client Partner. He focuses on a combination of leadership advisory and search work for Danish and international companies, specialising in the industrial and technology sectors, particularly in the European CFO space.
Thomas brings 25 years’ experience across multiple industries combining search, consulting, finance and general management. After an early career in finance management roles with A.P.Moller-Maersk, Thomas moved into management consultancy, ultimately founding his own firm specialising in advising CFOs, driving business development and developing operational strategy for Nordic businesses.
Prior to joining NPP, he spent eight years with Russell Reynolds Associates as a Partner in the Copenhagen office, advising Boards on talent and succession leadership, conducting Board Effectiveness Reviews and recruiting international candidates to Chair and NED positions for listed, private equity and family-owned businesses.
Thomas is currently based is Copenhagen but has previously lived and worked in the UK, China and Malaysia. He is fluent in Danish and English, and can speak conversational German, Italian and other Nordic languages. He has a master's degree in economics from Aarhus University in Denmark, with exchange years at Cranfield School of Management in the UK and the University of Pavia in Italy.
